They
Are Always Remembered
Do you wish you could put some flowers,
or clean the headstone of your dad's graveside, however, you live hundreds
of miles away.
The purpose of this page is to give
you the opportunity~
"To Do Unto Others,
as You Would Want Them to Do Unto You".
If you keep this famous motto in mind,
this page will work itself.
Thank You.

.....VA now provides free inscriptions
for certain military awards on grave markers and headstones furnished by
the government. A new policy adds the Purple Heart, Distinguished
Service Cross, the Navy Cross, the Air Force Cross, and the Silver Star
to the previously authorized Medal of Honor inscription... The president
has signed legislation authorizing disability compensation for veterans
suffering from any of 13 types of cancer contracted while on active duty
as the result of radiation exposure during World War II during atomic bomb
actions. Contact a VA office for more information.

Alabama
I am
so fortunate to live only 3 minutes from my dad's burial site. That is
my safe place - when life gets to be too much and I need a break, I can
always stop by, sit and talk to my dad, or just be quiet and listen.
I always feel better after "a visit". I can only imagine how difficult
it would be to live miles away and not have the luxury of visiting whenever
the urge hit. I live just north of Birmingham, AL. I am more
than willing to go to a grave site anywhere in Alabama for a visit, place
flowers, clean, or whatever is needed. Please contact me through
my VVA Chapter's email.

I was
just surfing around when I came upon your site. I am from Minneapolis and
I live there in the summer. I frequent the Ft. Snelling National Cemetary
quite often to visit the resting place of my grandmother. She is buried
there because my grandfather served in the military. I am offering my services
to whom ever would like me to leave something for a relative of theirs
who is also buried at Fort Snelling. Thank you.
