Our Father
Major William Cordero

. Major William E Cordero, is the son of Walter and Helen Cordero (both deceased) of Santa Barbara, California. 

Maj. Cordero graduated from Santa Barbara Catholic High School in 1953 and Loyola University (Los Angeles) in 1957 (USAF ROTC).

Major Cordero flew with the 8TH and 13TH Bomber Squadrons out of Ton Son Nhut and Clark Air Bases (Philippines) while serving in SE Asia. 

Major Cordero was with Maj. Charles K. Lovelace at the time their plane
(B-57 Canberra) went down in Laos (June 22, 1965).  They were buried together at Arlington National Cemetery in May 1969 (directly opposite the side of Amphitheater from Tomb of Unknown Soldier).

He has one sibling, Dorothy.  His wife, Kathleen, is remarried.   He is survived by five children, William, Jr., Theresa, Anthony, Richard and James.
