I'm just posting some pics I took...which
aren't many..because I was 'WELCOMING' our Brothers and Sisters home!
Thank God for one-hour photo :)
Robin, did not know her husband, Rick,
flew in to greet her from Nebraska...He won the award for 'BEST SURPRISED
WELCOME". We were all excited for them, as you can see by Terry
McGregor's expression
After
getting reacquainted with one another (blushing) they had time to
enjoy and IN-n-OUT burger, courtesy of SDIT-SoCal. Rick is holding
a picture of Robbin w/ a Boa Constrictor around her neck in Vietnam.

VietNow....They sent a team to WELCOME
SDIT HOME. Rich Sanders, their National President, returned to Vietnam
w/ SDIT, he is the one in the Gold t-shirt.
SDIT Kids with Vietnam Veterans.
In the middle is Kate Halpin, her brother
is on The WALL.
Terry McGregor (The Purple Buff)
"The True Survivor" :)
Terry McGregor (right-background) wonders
why Tony Cordero is patting Jim's head?? NOT! Tony, just likes
to use his hands when he talks :)
Gary Lee (CA) getting a "see-ya-soon" hug
from Michelle Baugh (IL). Can you believe that Gary is not behind
the camera and is actually in the picture? Hey...does Patty know
that other women hug her husband? :) We do not give GOOD-BYE
hugs in SDIT, just "see-ya-soon" hugs.
Kelly Beatty (CA) had a little problem
w/ her suitcase, luckily she lives in SoCal and only had to get it in the
car :)
Yes, even SoCal kids had some people "very"
happy to see them as you can tell. Nina, I think Paul was dreaming
of this day...everyday for the past two weeks :)
Debra Hopkins waving goodbye
Kim, had never seen palm
trees, until she arrived in Los Angeles on 2/28 from Virginia. What an
appropriate background, our beautiful flag and beautiful waving palm trees.
I was soooooo happy in this picture
and didn't know how crappy I looked until I went to the bathroom and looked
in a mirror, after everyone had left. This is what you look like
with 15 hours of sleep in 3 days (3.5) the night before, hug-head from
hugging everyone and swollen eyes from "tears of joy" :)
Sister Kim, "thank you" need
I say more.....ok..here come the tears again....
A GIFT
TO EACH PARTICIPANT
